1 August 2011, U.S. imports of seamless stainless steel pipe up sharply increased in the first eight months of imports of small diameter seamless pipe increased by nearly 40%, of which the two largest source of imports for Japan (up 350 %) and China (up 56%).

Members will continue to closely monitor to determine whether the transfer to the U.S. manufacturer of seamless stainless steel pipe caused similar damage.
